Google Page Creator

Do you know Google develops a very user-friendly page making tool? You can just log in your email account, and then follow several easy steps and create your website in few seconds.

The most outstanding feature is that your website could be searched in google within 20 minutes after the set up, while other tools which providing similar functions need a whole month.

Comparing with other web building websites such as geocities, Google Page Creator is much easier to use and you can see the result straight away after you press the 'Publish' button. Of course, the weakness is, you cannot make your home page very fancy as lots of setting would be default.

I made a very silly website, you are welcome to visit the following link:

Global Warming

The 60 minute program tonight talked about the threat of global warming. It mentioned polar bear is going to extinct, and the glacier cap in North Point is melting in unbelievably fast pace, and it also intensifies the unstable weather all over the world. Undeniably, green gases from human activities contributes mostly for the changing.

I feel sorry that we don't care about the sustainable development in order to reserve a better environment to our next generations. What we left to our children and grand children? A disastrous planet?

Soup & wedding

Thanks Jeff for sending me the soup last night when I was having O.T. in office. It tasted sweeter than sweet soup. Unfortunately I threw all up when we came back home.

Today I felt a bit better and we could even have ice-cream after dinner. =)

Just heard a news that one of my friends will get married in Sep next year.

And one of my colleagues invited me to be an emcee during his wedding banquet in the coming December. At that time, I have confidence I will return to my orignial body shape (or even better!!) after the delivery of my baby boy in May. Samantha will be another emcee. This is a really honourable job for me!

My another colleague will have his wedding at mid April, I worry I will have swelling and look like an inflated ball at that time, I may need to apply some bronzer on my face to make it looks smaller and thinner....

Lovely Bouquet

Thanks Jeff for sending me such a lovely bouquet in the Valentine's Day!! I love rose, tulip and orchid. You know what I mean? Hahah.

A Shocking News

Can't believe that the most loyal and charismatic senior person in our company is leaving. Today is her last day, and most of us just realize it today.

She act as a soul of her department, many subordinates attached to her emotionally. The atmosphere is filling by grieve and sadness.

It should be a great loss of the company, her expertise gained her reputation not only at our place, but in this industry.

However, it is so pathetic that the bosses are not willing to accept the fact that she is leaving, they even have not guts to send out an official notice to all staff about her resignation.

Anyway, wish she has a prosperous future and a more balanced life.

Antique

I should send a big kiss to my friend Grace. She keeps the two gifts I sent her when we were in Form1 and 2. In the picture, you can see a cup and a painted egg shell. I sent her the cup because I made her angry once and wanted to say an apology to her. And the egg shell was actually a work of an Art lesson. It was me in school uniform. Isn't it beautiful?

Thanks again to Grace that she treasured them and maintained it in such a good condition, for more than a decade!!! Even though you are in another corner of the planet, we will keep in touch!!

You just enlightened my day!!

Give me a break

Can our bosses give us a break, I just want to take a breath, please???

When they want to make any decision, can they have a second thought before implement it? Please don't change their planning fr tomime to time impulsively, without any strong reason. Come on, we are not shopping in the mall, it is not necessary to anticipate your impulse decision making.

And, please find a more talented and out-spoken person to communicate with us, do not ask someone to lead the plan just because he is willing to kiss you ass but has no ability to present one simple single idea to the public, not to mention his score of leadership is only zero!

God bless our company!

Book Reading Festival

I read through the whole book 'Every Boy's Got One' last Sunday, an usual hilarious story as Meg Cabot's other novels.

Now I am going to start a new book, you cannot guess what I pick up this time....'Sense and Sensibility' by Jane Austen!!

Wow, I haven't read English literature before, let see whether I am sophisticated enough to read such a classic novel!

By the way, I always feel so satisfied when I finished a book and all the edges of the cover were wore out. It seems that the book got some experience with me and I fill up its life. When I borrow the book to others, they could further 'nourish' the book and energize it again.

But remember to return the books to me!!=)

Fresh Sunday Morning

We wake up at 10:30am this morning and have had a breakfast. I am reading 'Every Boy's Got One', there are only 58 pages left, hope to finish it by today.

The sun is shining gently outside, some clouds shadow it. I could smell the spring cool breeze from the window, I do enjoy the sanctuary at the moment.

Yesterday my sister and cousins came to visit us in the evening. We ordered Pizza Hut and saw 'Gosford Park' DVD together. I had seen it once before but it was still worth to review it again. Jeff made a bag of microwave pop-con and it reminded us our collective memory - the first time we tried microwave pop-con was in 7-eleven, when we were less than 10 years old.

I still remembered that small convenient store nearby my old house, we loved to have hot chocolate there during winter, when Hong Kong was still quite cold in winter two decades ago. Not sure if there is still there.

Now the CD player is sining 'I think it's going to rain today' by Katie Melua.

Wish you all have a nice week ahead!!
